Lynn Stout was born in Florida but grew up in East Tennessee. In 1990 she graduated from UT, and then in a rather sappy move, married her high school sweetheart the next day. After ten years of living in flat Memphis, she moved with her husband and daughters to the mountains of Maryville where she’s lived for the past eight years. If the leaves have fallen and she catches the perfect angle from an upstairs window, her home has a mountain view. She’s been a freelance writer for the past seven years and came to Blount Today early in 2007. While her official job title is sales assistant, Blount Today humors her obsession and lets her write for them also. When she’s not sales assisting or writing, she’s watching Tennessee football or her daughter’s soccer games.
