Members of the Mary Blount DAR and Elizabeth Paxton Houston Society Children of the American Revolution were joined by other DAR and SAR members on Sept. 21 on the grounds of the Blount County Court House. Members were there to celebrate a bell ringing in honor of the 223rd anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Constitution Week was Sept. 17-24, and a proclamation commemorating it was signed by the Mayors of Blount County, Alcoa and Maryville.
