In Panama City on Nov. 7, 2009, Matt Snow completed the Florida Ford Ironman in 13 hours and 24 minutes. After serving in the U.S. Army, he became involved with road races and distant bike rides to raise money and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and on to the Ironman. His name is in the lottery for the Kona, Ironman in October. The Ironman is a race of 2.5 mile ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run. 3,000 participants competed in this year’s race.
