Mary Grainger Blount is buried in the First Presbyterian Church Graveyard in Knoxville next to her husband.   • Maryville Middle School Soccer Team A won the Division B Middle School Tournament held in May.   • Members of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club of Townsend celebrated National Garden Week (June 5-11) with a work day at the Townsend River Walk, a collaboration of the Club and the City of Townsend.
