  • Members of the Elizabeth Paxton Houston Society Children of the American Revolution, sponsored by the Mary Blount DAR, conducted a Flag Retirement Ceremony for 14 USA Flags, including one that had once flown over the Capitol Building, on Flag Day.   • From left, Addison Fout, Adrian Roberts and Russell Steadman, three of the third- through eighth-graders who attended Pellissippi State Community College's five-day Science America summer camp, work on a remote-controlled car. Campers experienced math and science and had fun doing it: they made paper helicopters; learned about DNA, pollution, the human nervous system, optical illusions, and paper chromatography; and conducted color blindness, hearing, and reflex tests.
