See larger The Tuckaleechee Garden Club July Yard of the Month was awarded to Kenneth and Jerilyn Myers of Townsend. The yard features dogwoods, daylilies, multiple iris, beds of pink coneflowers and gaura (whirling butterflies) and knock-out roses. In addition, a gorgeous vegetable garden is part of the landscaping and includes an asparagus bed. A swale made with hand-carried river rock borders the stone wall next to the flower beds near the driveway. The garden was selected by Tuckaleechee members Barbara Spence and Jane Caruso.
