Several members of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club of Townsend participated in the Blount County Garden Club Annual Plant Sale at Midland Shopping Center on April 23. Members sold plants and garden accessories such as handcrafted hypertufa bird baths. Funds from the sale will benefit additions to the Townsend Riverwalk in the process of being certified as a Trail Arboretum.
