At the May 5th meeting at Puelo’s Grille, new officers for the East Tennessee Chapter, National Society Magna Charta Dames, were installed by State Regent Laura Bales. Pictured are, from left, Regent Jeanette Williams, Vice Regent Debra Wilson, Secretary Amy Williams, Treasurer Madge Day, Chaplain Beth Freeman, and State Regent Laura Bales. Members of the society are direct descendants of one of the Sureties for the Magna Charta or from a Baron, Prelate, Knight or other influential person present on the field of Runnemede in June 1215.
