See smaller Haley Katherine Stinnett, of Maryville, recently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from East Tennessee State University at their May 7 Commencement Ceremonies. Stinnett was a Summa Cum Laude graduate and was honored with the Outstanding Student Award by the Biological Science Department Faculty. Stinnett will continue her education at the University of Chicago. She was selected from a nationwide pool of applicants to be part of the Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy’s graduate program in Integrative Biology. This five year program will provide full support to Stinnett as she she completes her PhD. Stinnett is a 2007 graduate of William Blount High School. She is the daughter of Gary and Rhonda Stinnett of Maryville, and the granddaughter of Robert and Lloyd Ann Sheets and Carl and Joyce Stinnett of Maryville.
