Maryville Kiwanis presented a check of $2,400 raised funds to the Community Food Connection at its Dec. 7 meeting. Making the presentation is Maryville Kiwanis President Robert Russell to Dean Moss, representing the Community Food Connection. Maryville Kiwanis not only raises money to assist in sustaining important projects and organizations, but its membership is active in supporting them with volunteer hours. A variety of members volunteer as many as 50 hours of their time each month stocking and distributing groceries.
