Home Federal Bank employee Shelley Burgstiner envisions walking through the door of the Habitat for Humanity home that she will share with 2-year-old daughter Riley. Following Burgstiner’s acceptance into the program, the bank arranged for their employee volunteers to build the home, which is the bank’s 21st. Home Federal Bank is Knoxville Habitat for Humanity’s longest standing covenant partner, which involves providing $30,000 and significant volunteer manpower per residence.
