Neighbors and friends from Crosswinds Subdivision joined together March 31-April 4 for an enjoyable bus trip to Washington, D.C., at the peak of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Their trip included a visit to Arlington Cemetery for the changing of the guard and viewing of the Confederate Dead Memorial. They enjoyed a walking tour around the White House, a visit to the national monuments and memorials, the National Cathedral, the Smithsonian Museums, and the Capitol. They also explored Mount Vernon.
