Several students from Maryville Middle School received State Awards for Junior American Citizen projects at the recent DAR State Conference. Graysen McConnell received second place in the poster contest; Katie Carmichael was awarded first place for her photographic essay; and Rachel Satterfield received first place for her short story as well as honorable mention in the Southeastern Division.
