Members of the local Captain Thomas Carter Chapter and the Tennessee Society Colonial Dames 17th Century attended the 86th Annual Conference in April in Washington, D.C. Pictured at the tea held at the Society’s National Headquarters are Linda Harris, Shirley Hall, Charlotte Miller, Sandra Renzy of Virginia, Pat Boals, Aline Roberts, and hostess of the tea, Melissa Fischer. Members of the Colonial Dames 17th Century are lineal descendants of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701 in one of the Original Colonies in the geographic area of the present United States of America.
