Keep Blount Beautiful recently awarded Fairview School a 2010 Environmental Award for their recycling area landscaping. Students, parents and teachers all worked with Mountain Laurel Garden Club members to complete the project. Plants were chosen for the area not only to beautify, but to attract bees, butterflies and birds.
