The Tuckaleechee Garden Club of Townsend decorated the Cardwell Cabin at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center for the Christmas season. Members used homemade gingerbread men, corn shuck dolls, paper and popcorn chains, as well as native plants and berries to create a festive, but traditional atmosphere. Standing in front of the cabin are, from left, Bob Russell, Mary Lynn Morgan, Lorna Methany, Mo Pearson, Janie Bitner, Connie Keeble, Linda Lee and Charlotte Miller. Sitting in the rocking chair is Elaine Russell.
