Members of the Captain W.Y.C. Hannum UDC and the General James Longstreet CofC placed a wreath at the Confederate Memorial Monument in Bethel Cemetery in Knoxville on Dec. 5. This monument is the tallest CSA monument in Tennessee and was dedicated by the Ladies Memorial Association in 1892 to memorialize the 1600 soldiers buried at the site. After placing the wreath, the group enjoyed a candlelight tour of the historic Mabry-Hazen House nearby.
