Blount County Commissioners Scott Helton and Holden Lail traveled to Union Grove middle and elementary schools and Mary Blount Elementary on Jan. 26 to present county flags to students. The commissioners said it is important students know the symbols of the flag and what they represent: Agriculture, education, industry and religion.
