The Cherokee Baseball Academy 12u travel team recently completed their season with a trip to Cooperstown, NY. While in Cooperstown, the team competed in a 24 team tournament, playing teams from 16 states and Canada. Cherokee was the only team representing Tennessee. Cherokee played 8 games during their week stay at the Cooperstown All-Star Village Complex. Cherokee recorded wins against teams from New York, Illinois, New Jersey and Canada. A highlight of the trip was a visit to the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. Team members are Daniel Brimer, Cole Carruthers, Drey Corum, Andy Duggan, Blake Holder, Spencer Johnson, Alex McBrayer, Bryce Miller, Andrew Petree, Zach Sears, Dylan Shinsky and Brenden Teeter. Cherokee 12u is coached by Mark Brimer, Wes Carruthers, Todd Duggan and Steve Johnson.
