Fifty-two young marines from the Lt. Alexander Bonnyman Unit of the Young Marines participated in a rowing adventure on Aug. 8 at the Smoky Mountain Rowing Center (SMRC) in Blount County. The Young Marines practiced proper rowing technique using ergometers prior to their on-the-water experience with the East Tennessee Rowing Organization.
