The Tuckaleechee Garden Club awarded the August Yard-of-the-Month to Frank and Phyllis Vlasaty of Townsend. Garden Club members Florence Byrd and Charlotte Miller selected the yard based on a variety of plantings including day lilies, crepe myrtles, several ornamental grasses and box woods.
