See larger Jordan Hoyos won first place in the 63rd annual Tennessee Chess Association Novice Division. By winning all five of his games, Jordan achieved the only perfect 5.0 score in his division. He was presented with a check for $250 and a beautiful plaque. Jordan is in the fifth grade at Alcoa Middle School. He is the son of Sandra Davis Hoyos and Fred Hoyos.
