The Elizabeth Paxton Houston Society Children of the American Revolution and the Mary Blount DAR sponsored the 4th Annual Constitution Week Bell Ringing at the Revolutionary War marker on the Blount County Court House lawn. Pictured are the C.A.R., DAR and Sons of the American Revolution that were among those attending. After the children lead the group in reciting the Preamble to the Constitution, signed 222 years ago on September 17, everyone rang a bell.
