Andrew scored what proved the winning goal in a penalty-kick shootout win over No. 1-ranked Chattanooga Christian in the state tournament opener on Friday. The Mitchells returned with their son to Blount County later that night so Andrew could be treated for a viral infection. He would miss the semifinal win over Hume-Fogg on Thursday but return to Murfreesboro on Saturday to deliver the opening goal in the championship match.
