Members of the Captain W.Y.C. Hannum #1881 UDC chapter, the General James Longstreet #954 CofC and the Longstreet-Zollicoffer Camp #89 SCV Color Guard participated in the dedication ceremony of a Confederate Grave Marker for Private Charles Gregory at the Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Private Gregory, who enlisted in Maryville, was a member of Co. K, 5th Regiment of the Tennessee Cavalry. Among the UDC members pictured are organizer of the ceremony Cathy Jenkins, a great-great granddaughter of Private Gregory, and Mary Gregory and Dorothy Sutton, great-great nieces of Private Gregory.
