She is a William Blount graduate and will attend Maryville College in the fall. Matthew is the son of Jan Benson of Knoxville and Dale Benson of Gainsville, Georgia. He is also a William Blount graduate and works as a computer analyst at Blount Memorial Hospital. Rev. Charles Ballard officiated the ceremony which was held on the 57th anniversary of the bride’s grandparents, the late Bob and Dorothy Herron. A reception is planned in October at Royal Oaks Event Facility. - Maryville, TN
