The Cherokee 14u girls fast-pitch softball team came in runner up in the 2009 NSA Memorial Day Classic held in Dalton Ga. The girls had a outstanding tournament only giving up runs to the team who came in first. The team consist of, bottom row from left, Celeste Whaley, Montana Coffey, Emma Walker, Ashlyn Curtis and Alexis Franklin; Top row from left, Haley Wampler, Kaitlyn McLemore, Savannah Kirby, Kenna Boling and Natalie Overholt; The girls are coached by David Kidd and Mark Curtis.
