The Melvin Jones Fellow award for dedicated humanitarian services to the Lions International Foundation was presented to two Maryville Lions Club members at the recent Annual Installation Picnic. Florence Byrd received the award from the Maryville Lions Club and J. V. Britton, who had previously received the award from the club, received his second award from the State Division 12N for his outstanding services to the Division as well as the local club.
