The Blount United U-13 Lady Hammers won the Stones River Spring Shootout Soccer Tournament held in Smyrna, Tenn. The Lady Hammers road to the championship was paved with 4 tough victories: 6 - 1 vs. the Columbia Stars; 2 - 0 vs. the Headley, Tn., Purple Rain; 1 - 0 vs. Knoxville FC Alliance; and 3 - 0 vs Lincoln County Shockers. Multiple goals were scored by Alicia Yarlett (2), Courtney Dyer (2), and Sarah Brewer (2). Phoebe Stark, Madison Donley, Kristen Chandler, Veronica Vineyard, Erin Thomas and Katie Porter all scored 1 goal each during the tournament. Chloe Wheatley was the winning keeper in all 4 games, giving up only one goal for the tournament.
