At the March State Conference of the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, members of the local Captain Thomas Carter Chapter were installed as state officers by National President Juanita Gex. Shirley Hall was installed as State Recording Secretary and Charlotte Miller was installed as State President for the 2009-2011 term.
