Kase Whitehead, second from left, became the first William Blount High School football player to sign with a Division I college when the Governor punter signed a National Letter of Intent with Marshall University on National Signing Day last Wednesday. It was a full day for William Blount, with three other Governors inking letters of intent to continue their football careers. Defensive end T.J. Walker, at far left, signed with Tusculum. Offensive linemen Josh Madden and Sam Greene, both signed with Cumberland University.
