Earl H. Pratt

Earl H. "Earl the Squirrel" Pratt, age 70 of Knoxville, formerly of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living. He was a dedicated member of Central Church of God and a street minister to the downtown Knoxville area sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Earl was an avid fisherman as well as a faithful follower and supporter of The Maryville Rebel Football Program for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna Pratt.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Arnita Pratt; children, Donna and husband Tim Owens, Karen and husband Spanky Emerson, and Joy Gray; grandchildren, Ashlea Ferguson and fiancé, Josh Norman, Joshua and wife Becca Ferguson, Kendra Emerson and fiancé Lucas Geer, Katie Emerson, and Rachel Gray; brothers, William Pratt, Troy Pratt, Roy Pratt, and Joe Pratt; sisters, Edna Ruth Hill and Anna Lee Massengill; and special friend and former pastor, Gordon Stallings.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the management and staff of Arbor Terrace Assisted Living and Covenant Hospice, nurses, Pat and Candice, for their loving care of Earl.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Dean officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service with Rev. David Snyder officiating.
