Harold Lloyd Hopkins

Harold Lloyd Hopkins, “Hoppy”, 68 of Loudon, passed away Sunday September 19, 2010. He was born in Michigan, November 3, 1941. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for McGhee Tyson Airport and had also been employed with Fort Sanders Hospital. He was preceded in death by his loving companion: Teresa Pierce; Parents: Nora Bessie Jones and Edward Thomas Hopkins; brother and sisters-in-law: James L. and Cora Bell Hopkins and Audrey Hopkins. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Tina R. Jackson, Bridget and Wayne Stapleton, Kellie and Michael Cruze; brothers and sister-in-law: Edward William Hopkins, Jr., Jesse and Betty Hopkins; sister: Kathryn “Katie” Beckett; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Obie Campbell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Memorial Funeral Home at 10:30 am Thursday to proceed to Grandview Cemetery for an 11:00 am Graveside Service.
