Agnes Alma Keeler Gregory

Our mother, Agnes Alma Keeler Gregory went Home to be with her Lord on November 27, 2010. She was on this earth for 83 years. She was born in Sevierville, TN and married our father, Claude, on Feb 27, 1942 at the age of 14. They adopted us three children; Shirley, Larry and Teresa. They were wonderful parents and we could never ever have thanked them enough for what all they did for us. We were so loved and cared for! Our mother, Agnes, loved people. She loved cooking, shopping and spending time with family. She loved to sew; making quilts, pillows and things for everyone. We love her and our father so very much. They will always be in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Claude Clifford Gregory; daughter, Shirley Whitehead; by her parents, Henry Keeler and Bonnie Russell Keeler; and brothers, Mirl and Willie Keeler. She is survived by her son, Larry Gregory and fiancé Jenny Hofmeister; daughter, Teresa Headrick and husband Dickie; grandchildren, Dewayne, Michael, and Angel Gregory, Kristen, Candace and Jonny Headrick, Ronnie, Marty, and Michelle Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Tori Headrick and Shane Whitehead.

We want to send out a warm and sincere heartfelt thank you to Shirley Wright and each and every one of our family members, friends, doctors, nurses and assistants who all had their special part in taking care of our mother. Most of all we want to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for being right there and holding our mother’s hand through it all. In the last phrase of Hebrews 13:5 it says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” and our God is faithful.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel with the internment to follow at Dotson Memorial Cemetery, Rev Willard Willis officiating.
