Ogle appointed to House of Delegates of Tennessee Bar Association

Blount County Clerk and Master Stephen S. Ogle has been appointed to fill a vacancy in the House of Delegates of the Tennessee Bar Association by the officers of the House of Delegates. According to its bylaws, “The purpose of the House of Delegates shall be to consider, debate, and make the policy recommendations on matters of interest and concern to the legal profession.” Ogle will represent the Fifth Judicial District, which consists of Blount County. His term ends in 2015.

Ogle was also elected Secretary of the Eastern Division of the Tennessee Court Clerks Conference at its regular meeting in Morristown on August 26, 2011. He will serve in that capacity for a term of one year. The group provides a forum for court clerks serving the counties of East Tennessee to share information and fellowship, and it also provides training to its members to assist them in the performance of their duties.
