The Blount County Sheriff’s Office will hold a child safety seat clinic from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, in the main parking lot of the Blount County Justice Center located at 940 East Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville.
Citizens may come by any time between those hours.
Trained and certified child passenger safety seat technicians will be on hand to provide personal child car seat installation instructions. They will give parents and care-givers instructions to help them insure their children continue to get the best protection possible from their safety seats.
This clinic will give parents an opportunity to make sure their seats fit their car, fit their child, and are safely and securely anchored in the car.
