Hospitalist Dr. Kimberly Goodemote has joined Blount Memorial Hospital’s active medical staff.
Goodemote received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 1985, a master’s degree in biochemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., in 1988 and a medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., in 1997.
She completed a family practice residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., in 2000, where she also served as the chief resident from 2000-2001.
Goodemote is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
