Looking for a way to connect with the business community? The Blount Chamber is inviting potential members to check out the chamber as a way to accomplish that goal.
The Blount County Chamber of Commerce is inviting potential members to an upcoming Sneak-a-Peek networking event set for Thursday, May 26.
Each month, the Chamber hosts a members-only morning coffee either at the sponsor’s location or at the Blount Chamber office on Washington Street in Maryville. For the Sneak-a-Peek, non-members are invited to join those attending the May coffee, which will be at 7:45 a.m. at Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union, 124 N. Hall Rd, Alcoa. “It’s a great way to get your feet wet, so to speak,” says membership vice chair Boyce Smith of Wal-Mart. “The coffees and other Chamber networking events provide members an opportunity to connect with other business people. Ultimately, every contact is a potential customer, supplier or new friend.”
With more than 100 networking opportunities annually, the Chamber is a great place to connect and build on new business relationships. In addition to networking opportunities, members gain valuable insight during workshops, seminars and government briefings.
“My membership and involvement in the Chamber has yielded the highest return on investment of any of the other memberships I hold,” said Smith.
In an effort to expose more businesses to Chamber benefits, the Blount Chamber is offering a $15 discount on new memberships through June. For more information about the Chamber or networking events, visit www.blountchamber.com or call Julia Kyle at 865-983-2241.
The Blount Chamber is located at 201 S. Washington Street in Maryville and is fully accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with a five-star rating.
