Bob Kidd Exteriors has new name, new contest

Bob Kidd Exteriors has a new name - Joseph Exteriors. In the summer of 2010, Christopher Joseph Zappa purchased Bob Kidd Siding and Windows, a Maryville-based firm with more than 36 years of experience. The following months represented a merger of talents honed from Joseph Construction Company and the original Bob Kidd team. Zappa said recently that the company has changed its name from Bob Kidd Siding and Windows to Joseph Exteriors.

“We came in last year, knowing we would make some changes to the existing structure of the business,” said Zappa. “The name change is our way of taking advantage of the momentum the company has and leveraging the strength of Joseph Construction Company to support our new vision, resources and customer service promise. Although Joseph Construction is a separate entity, the life and business lessons learned from them is invaluable to Joseph Exteriors.”

Zappa said his family’s construction firm, which has served Blount, Knox, Sevier, and Loudon counties for more than 30 years, has built a reputation for itself by providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Since 1974, the company has handled installation of vinyl siding, guttering and gutter guards, and new and replacement windows for both commercial and residential clients, he said.

As part of the renaming celebration, Joseph Exteriors is pleased to announce a home renovation giveaway. In a contest, running March 21 - April 15, anyone within the East Tennessee region is encouraged to visit www.josephexteriorscontest.com and register for a free home renovation that includes siding, windows, roofing, and gutters valued at up to $30,000. The prize will be announced on April 16 at an event at UT Federal Credit Union on Emory Road in Powell.
