2011 Foothills Fall Festival is sold out

With the exception of a few reserved seats for Friday night, the 2011 Foothills Fall Festival presented by the City of Maryville is sold out.

General admission and Saturday and Sunday reserved seating are no longer available. Organizers said they anticipated an early sell out once the entertainment roster was announced, with Reba McEntire headlining Saturday night, Chicago anchoring Sunday’s line-up and Sara Evans kicking things off on Friday. The sell-out took less than three weeks, which is a festival record.

The few reserved seats for Friday night only are available through Knoxville Tickets 865- 656-4444 or www.knoxvilletickets.com.

Joining McEntire will be The Band Perry and Steel Magnolia. Numerous other entertainers, including some local artists, are also on the schedule.

Greg McClain, city manager said, “It is a great feeling to see so many folks in our community who are excited that Maryville will be hosting these stars. We are happy to be able to partner with our sponsors to make this event better each year.”

For those who did not purchase a ticket, there will still be plenty of entertainment all weekend at the ArtWay, where Music at Roy’s stage will host an eclectic group of talented performers, activities and demonstrations and many wonderful artists and craftsmen.

In Adventure Land, 16 acres of activities, rides and shows will entertain the entire family.

Volunteers have answered the call. “This year our volunteer needs were filled in record time - and we are grateful for the support. This helps allow us to present the Adventure Land and ArtWay areas free of charge for a weekend filled with entertainment and activities that is accessible to everyone in our community,” McClain added.

A special block of discount tickets is held each year for Volunteers to purchase in addition to the free admission received on the day worked.

Admission to the ArtWay and Adventure Land is free. Concerts at Theater in the Park are the only parts of Fall Festival that require a ticket. The hours of operation for this year’s ArtWay arts and crafts showcase and Children’s Adventure Land are noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
