The Blount Partnership will once again recognize business excellence.
The 2011 Business Excellence Awards recognize Chamber members and businesses that local consumers believe provide exceptional service while also having an interest in the community in which they do business. The winners of the Business Excellence Awards will be recognized at a Chamber/Blount Partnership breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Clayton Center for the Arts.
Nominations for all categories are now open and can be filled out online.
Categories for these awards include Over 40 Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Entrepreneur, Customer Service Awards, Extra Mile Club, Award in Innovation, Minority/Woman Owned Business Excellence, Impact Award, Captain’s Award for large businesses, Up and Comer Award for a local student and Business of the Year.
Awards are also given in the nonprofit sector and for outstanding efforts in volunteerism. Categories are Nonprofit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Outstanding Service Organization, Philanthropist of the Year and the Youth Volunteer of the Year.
