Trillium Cove hosts egg hunt

For children in search of Easter eggs, Trillium Cove was the place to be on April 16.

Youngsters flocked to the lawn of the shopping village in Townsend for the inaugural Trillium Cove Easter egg hunt.

Tiffany Sands, manager at the Picnic Pantry, was pleased with the crowd. “It went great, and we had a good turnout,” she said. “We had cookie decorating and face-painting and we hid over 700 eggs. The children loved the live bunny rabbits.”

Sands said there were about 35 guests, and they ranged in age from 11 months old to 13 years old. “It was the first year for this, and it was a test run, but we will definitely look forward to doing it again next year,” she said.
