Friendsville man victim of apparent homicide

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 65-year-old Friendsville man who was found in his home Monday, Oct. 18, the victim of an apparent homicide.

At around 5 p.m. Monday, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence of James Arthur Moser, 65, Cave Road, Friendsville, to the call of a body. When deputies arrived, they found Moser’s body in residence. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating his death as a homicide.
