ArtWay vendors booths were nearly empty on the last day of Foothills Fall Festival.
That’s good news to City of Maryville events coordinator Jane Groff.
“Vendors in ArtWay were extremely happy with the turnout,” said Groff. “There were several vendors who ran out of stock and lots were down to the bare minimum by Sunday. Some said this was their best show ever on record. That was just huge for us because we go through lot of effort to make it a successful show for the vendors so they will tell their friends in the arts and crafts circuit, and we’ll continue to receive better and more applicants.”
The crowds streamed through the ArtWay area in downtown all three days of the festival.
“There were lots of people. It was a great combination of perfect weather and a lot of free stuff for people with families. It was a good opportunities for people to come out for a weekend, and I think everyone did,” Groff said.
