The Nawger Nob Arts and Crafts Fair drew a crowd on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24-25, and even though rain washed out the second day of the fair on Sunday, planners were thankful.
“We had a really good crowd,” said Connie Proffitt, wife of Nawger Nob co-owner Mac Proffitt. “Everyone was in really good mood. It was very festive, and people enjoyed looking and browsing and shopping and buying.
“It was a good day, and our vendors all did really well. The weather was nice Friday and Saturday, but we shut down because Mother Nature was giving us a blessing of rain on Sunday. So we’ll get ready and have the next one in the last weekend in June.”
Nawger Nob holds and Arts and Crafts Festival the last weekend of June and the last weekend of September.
“We enjoy it every time we have it,” said Proffitt. “We have very nice crowds of people who come from all over.”
