The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced that periodic lane closures at the Hall Road / Bessemer Street intersection will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, for the construction of sidewalk improvements.
The closures will be relatively brief in duration. In the event of inclement weather or if work isn’t completed on Friday, similar closures will occur on Monday, Oct. 11.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution while traveling through this work zone.
