Nurse practitioner Cynthia Albright has been named director of nursing compliance at Blount Memorial Hospital. Albright’s promotion follows her position of three years as a clinical specialist coordinator at Blount Memorial.
Albright received her bachelor of science in nursing, as well as her master of science in nursing at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Her master’s degree had a concentration in family practice.
Before becoming a clinical specialist coordinator at Blount Memorial, Albright worked as a nurse practitioner at Blount Gastroenterology Associates in Maryville. Prior to that position, she worked as a charge nurse in Blount Memorial’s intensive care unit.
Albright is board-certified as an advanced practice registered nurse, and is registered through the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). She is certified as an advanced cardiac life support instructor and pediatric advanced life support instructor.
