U-12 Lady Hammers win Crush Classic

The team is coached by Jackie Johnson and its players are: Rachel Broyles, Bailey Cate, D.D. Dutcher, Lizzie Fry, Lily Marine, Makenzie Mattern, Reagan Newman, Shelby Rooney, Savannah Stair, Julia Stark, Anna Tomiczek and DeAndra Fritz.

Goals were hard to come by in this years edition of the Knoxville Crush Classic Soccer Tournament held in Knoxville. The U-12 Blount United Lady Hammers Gold were up to the task and, led by keeper Lily Marine, did not give up a goal on the way to the championship.

Game results included: Lady Hammers 0, Brentwood Soccer Club 0; Lady Hammers 0, Express Red 0; Lady Hammers 1, Lady Legacy 0. In the championship match, the Lady Hammers rematched with Brentwood and came out on top, 1-0, to take the title.
