March Last Friday Art Walk expands for spring

The March 2010 Last Friday Art Walk on March 26 will feature a variety of art genres and one new performer who is ready to put a smile on young people’s faces.

Daisy the Clown will perform at Professional Hair Design. She will feature clown fun, balloon art, painting, clay sculpture and mixed media. A magic show starts at 7 p.m. The salon is situated below Two Doors Down between Church Avenue and East Broadway Avenue.

At Boyd Thomas Clothing, local artist Karen Brackett will feature some of her painting. At Tomato Head, mixed media/photography will showcase work by Robert Batey and Dana Cohen.

At Southland Books, local artist RaRa Schlitt’s work will be featured. Proceeds from all sales of Schlitt’s work will benefit the libraries at both Walland and Rockford elementary schools.
