Tena Udy
Tena Udy is Blount Memorial Hospital’s May employee of the month.
A five-year employee of the hospital, Udy works as a clerk in patient access.
Her supervisor says, “Tena always is courteous and helpful with our patients. She is willing to come in and cover for other employees, and never refuses to make schedule changes when needed.”
When asked what she likes best about her job, Udy says, “Making the people I serve feel a little better by smiling and watching them smile back.”
Outside of Blount Memorial, the Friendsville resident enjoys gardening, exploring her family history and watching sports with her husband.
